Crystal Springs Campground Located at Crystal Springs Park one-half mile south and one-half mile west of Fairbury, the campground is owned and operated by the City of Fairbury. 402-729-2148.
Rock Creek Station State Historical Park This historic site was established as a state historical park in 1983 and marks the Oregon Trail and Pony Express route. It is the place where Wild Bill Hickok became famous for shooting station agent D.C. McCanless. The park offers a museum and interpretive center, log buildings, historic stone post office, picnic grounds, playground, modern showers, campground with electrical hookups, horse camping and trails. Rock Creek Station is owned and operated by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and located at 57416 710 Road, Fairbury. 729-5777.
